Mallorca is considered the Mecca of the bicycle scene in spring. Best conditions and multifaceted landscapes offer perfect training conditions to prepare for the upcoming racing season. It was the perfect place for the training camp of the 8bar team.

8bar bikes are made for adventures – no matter where, no matter how. Luis from Barcelona is currently exploring India with his 8bar KRZBERG v6. His motto is “travelling light”, to do it fixed is just consequential.

In December 2015 time had come for a new very special challenge. Far away from traffic and tourism the 8bar adventure took place in Africa this time: At the Atlas Mountains in the middle of Morocco.

It maybe snows once or twice a year in Berlin and then it stays for just a few days until the temperature is getting above 0°C again and the snow is starting to melt.

Max and Stefan were looking for an adventure not too far away from Berlin, which they can do with their 8bar KRONPRINZ road bikes. They decided to visit the Giant Mountains at the czech-german borders.

The Rapha Gentlemen’s Race is a team race that emphasises the beauty and discovery of roads and camaraderie between the riders. Twenty four teams of six riders will depart ttt-style, at a stagger. Teams must ride as six the full distance of the route.
